"As I browsed over the MBA Program brochure prior to applying to Stanford GSB, the GMP section definitely grabbed my attention. Shortly after I moved from Spain to the Farm and I took the appropriate electives, did my Australian GMIX and met classmates from all over the world. No doubt earning the GMP certificate prepared me well for the cultural experience of living and working in Seoul upon graduation."

Certificate in Global Management
The Certificate in Global Management, an academic option within the MBA and Sloan Programs, is available to students who wish to focus their coursework on global management. The certificate demonstrates to future employers a student's preparation to be a global manager.
MBA students who wish to earn the certificate must successfully complete 16 units of coursework with a global/international focus.
Global Electives
Each year, the GMP offers global electives in accounting, economics, finance, operations, organizational behavior, political economy, and strategic management. In addition, for-credit programs such as the Global Management Immersion Experience (GMIX), Stanford-Tsinghua Exchange Program (STEP), and Stanford and IIM(B) Link (SAIL), are eligible toward certificate credit.
MBA students may also take advantage of courses offered at Stanford University on international culture, history, or foreign languages.
Sloan Fellows must complete 8 units of approved electives to earn the certificate.
