New Campus
The Knight Management Center
To succeed in our goal of reinventing management education, the Graduate School of Business is building a new, more flexible campus to support a wider variety of teaching and learning methods, and more collaboration and engagement with the Stanford campus at large.
Scheduled to open in 2010, the Knight Management Center will encompass approximately 360,000 square feet. This will replace the current 260,000 square feet of outdated Business School facilities, resulting in a net additional 100,000 square feet.
Our new campus also will provide:
- More flexible teaching spaces for both larger and smaller classes in configurations to support a variety of teaching styles and integrate instructional technology,
- Creative workspace for faculty to encourage collaboration,
- New space to house our centers and host their activities, and
- Custom-designed space to expand and support our executive education programs.
- A smart building design demonstrating a highly responsible use of water and energy to dramatically reduce environmental impacts at minimal additional lifetime costs.
An unprecedented gift from Philip H. Knight, MBA ’62, has paved the way for creating the new Knight Management Center. Details
