Mayree C. Clark

Mayree Clark is a partner and member of the executive committee of AEA Holdings, the parent of AEA Investors and Aetos Capital. Together AEA and Aetos manage $10 billion across the alternative asset classes, including private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Ms. Clark's primary focus is helping to expand the firm's capabilities geographically and across investment strategies. Ms. Clark chairs the investment committee for the Aetos Capital Management Asia Real Estate Securities Opportunity Fund and is a member of the investment committee of Aetos Capital Asia, which oversees the firm's physical real estate funds.
Ms. Clark was affiliated with Morgan Stanley from 1981 to 2005. She held a number of roles with increasing responsibility over that period, first as a line investment banker, and after becoming a managing director in 1990, as a leader in multiple areas of the firm. She served in mergers and acquisitions from 1981 to 1985, corporate finance from 1985 to 1986 and debt capital markets from 1986 to1988. She led the firm's real estate capital markets activities from 1988 to 1992, and served as senior deputy to the chairman, president and CEO during 1993 to1994. She became global research director in 1994 and led that effort to preeminence until 2002 when she was asked to become global director of private wealth management from 2002 to 2005. She also served as non-executive chairman of Morgan Stanley Capital International from 2000 to 2005.
Ms. Clark graduated with a BS in business, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1976. She received her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1981.
She is currently a member of the advisory board of Greenwich Associates, a member of the board of directors of the Student Sponsor Partnership, and a member of the leadership gifts committee for the Collegiate School. She was a trustee of Commonfund from 1991 to 2004.
Ms. Clark grew up in Oklahoma and currently resides with her husband, Jeffrey Williams, and their two sons in New York City.
