Mayree C. Clark

Aetos Capital
Mayree Clark is a managing director of Aetos Capital, where she serves as chairman
of the investment committee for the Aetos Capital Management Real Estate Securities
Opportunity Funds and a member of the investment committee for Aetos’ physical
real estate funds.
Ms. Clark was affiliated with Morgan Stanley from 1981 to 2005. She served in mergers
and acquisitions from 1981 to 1985, corporate finance from 1985 to 1986, and debt capital
markets from 1986 to 1988. She led the firm’s real estate capital markets activities from
1988 to 1992 and served as senior deputy to the chairman, president, and CEO from 1993
to 1994. She became global research director in 1994 and led that effort to preeminence
until 2002, when she was asked to become global director of private wealth management
from 2002 to 2005. She also served as nonexecutive chairman of Morgan Stanley Capital
International from 2000 to 2005.
Ms. Clark graduated with a BS in business, magna cum laude, from the University of
Southern California in 1976. She received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School
of Business in 1981. She is a director of the Stanford Management Company, which is
responsible for the University’s $20 billion endowment, and is currently a member of the
advisory boards of Greenwich Associates and Student Sponsor Partners, and co-chair of
the leadership gifts committee for the Collegiate School. She was a trustee of Commonfund
from 1991 to 2004.
Ms. Clark grew up in Oklahoma and currently resides with her husband, Jeffrey Williams,
and their two sons in New York City.
