Marko Dimitrijevic

Founder and President
Everest Capital, Inc.

Marko Dimitrijevic is the founder and president of Everest Capital, one of the longest
established hedge fund advisory firms, where he oversees all investment activities. The firm
invests globally using a thematic macro approach focusing on equity and debt securities,
commodities, currencies, and special situations in developed and emerging markets. Everest
Capital has offices in Miami, Singapore, Shanghai, Bermuda, and Geneva; its clients include
some of the world’s leading pension funds, endowments, and foundations.

Mr. Dimitrijevic has 25 years of experience in international investment management and
research. He started investing in global equities while in college, a passion that has
continued to this day. He worked for a private Swiss bank before coming to the United
States. Prior to establishing Everest Capital in 1990, he was an analyst on Wall Street
and managed large securities portfolios for a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Dimitrijevic is
fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Serbo-Croatian, and conversational in Italian.
A strong believer in conducting on-the-ground due diligence, he has traveled to more
than 100 countries.

Mr. Dimitrijevic is a graduate of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He received
an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller
Scholar. He has been a guest lecturer at the Darden Graduate School of Business at the
University of Virginia and at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is featured
in the books Inside the House of Money and Investing with the Hedge Fund Giants.
He is a chartered financial analyst.

Mr. Dimitrijevic is a trustee of the Miami Science Museum and served for six years
as a trustee of the Stanford Business School Trust. He resides with his family in
Coral Gables, Florida.
