Rick Justice is an executive vice president in the office of the chairman and CEO at Cisco
Systems. He is a senior advisor to chairman and CEO John Chambers, devoting much of
his time to executive leadership development and mentoring.
Mr. Justice joined Cisco in 1996 as senior vice president of the Americas. In January 2000,
his responsibilities expanded to worldwide field operations, reporting directly to
Mr. Chambers. He was named executive vice president of worldwide operations and
business development in 2007. In 2009, Mr. Justice moved into his current role.
Before joining Cisco, Mr. Justice spent 22 years with Hewlett-Packard. His HP career
included a number of sales and marketing leadership roles, a three-year assignment in
Hong Kong leading HP’s Asia Pacific operations, and his last role as leader of worldwide
enterprise sales.
Mr. Justice received a BS in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara University and an
MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Santa Clara
University Board of Regents.
Mr. Justice and his wife, Debi, live in Saratoga, California, and have three children: Dave
and Nicole work in the high-tech industry and Greg is an undergraduate at Stanford.
