Jim Kennedy is CEO and president of T. Rowe Price Group Inc. and a member of its board of directors. He chairs the firm’s management committee as well as the management compensation committee. He served as director of equities of T. Rowe Price Associates from 1997 to 2006, as director of equity research from 1987 to 1999, and as investment analyst from 1978 to 1987.

T. Rowe Price is a global investment management organization that manages $482 billion of client money across a broad array of mutual funds, subadvisory services, and separate account management for individual and institutional investors, retirement plans, and financial intermediaries.

Prior to joining the firm in 1978, he was employed by General Electric and participated in its financial management training program.

Mr. Kennedy earned an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.
