Carlos Brito joined AmBev in 1989. At AmBev, he held various positions in finance, operations, and sales before being appointed CEO in January 2004.
Prior to his appointment as Anheuser-Busch InBev’s (formerly InBev) CEO in December 2005, Mr. Brito was nominated Zone President North America when InBev was formed in August 2004.
Mr. Brito previously worked for Shell Oil and Daimler Benz.
Born in 1960, Mr. Brito is a Brazilian citizen. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
