Martin Koffel is chairman and CEO of URS Corporation (NYSE: URS). The company is
a leading provider of engineering, construction, and technical services. Under Mr. Koffel’s
leadership, URS has grown from a small firm of $100 million revenue and 900 employees
to a Fortune 500 company with approximately $10 billion revenue and more than
47,000 employees in 40 countries.
URS provides planning, engineering and architectural design, environmental, construction,
program and construction management, systems integration, operations and maintenance,
management, and specialized technical services for the U.S. federal government, state
and local government agencies, and multinational corporations. URS provides services for
transportation, hazardous and nuclear waste, power, industrial infrastructure and process,
petrochemical, military facilities and equipment platforms, and defense and security programs.
Mr. Koffel graduated from Stanford University with an MS in mineral engineering and an
MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
