Manuel Medina-Mora

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Citigroup Latin Ameica
Chief Executive Officer, Grupo Financiero Banamex

Manuel Medina-Mora’s professional career at Banco Nacional de México has included
several responsibilities in the corporate and international banking areas in Mexico, London,
New York, and Los Angeles. In 1990, he coordinated the privatization process of Banco
Nacional de México that led to the creation of Grupo Financiero Banamex-Accival (Banacci).
In 1991 he was appointed deputy general director of Banamex, and in 1996 he was
designated president and CEO of Banacci. In 2001, following the integration of Banamex
and Citigroup, he was named president and CEO of Grupo Financiero Banamex. Since 2004,
he has been chairman and CEO of Citi Latin America. He is a member of Citi’s executive
committee and senior leadership committee.

He is a member of the board of directors of Grupo Financiero Banamex and a member
of the board of trustees of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico. He was president
of the Mexican Banks Association (Asociación de Bancos de México) from April 2003
to March 2005.

Mr. Medina-Mora holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a
bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.
