Scott C. Schnuck

Scott Schnuck was elected chairman and CEO of Schnuck Markets, Inc. in November 2006 after filling the office of president and CEO for one year. He took the reigns of president and COO in September 1991. He had served as senior vice president of supermarkets since September of 1989. He also held the position of vice president marketing. Mr. Schnuck joined his family's business in September 1975.

Mr. Schnuck's education includes a BS in food industry management from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

His professional board memberships include the board of directors of Bakers Footwear Group and a member of their compensation committee.

His community associations include: board of directors and past chairman, St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association; Forward Metro St. Louis Committee; Private Sector Infrastructure Council Committee; board of trustees and past chairman of the executive committee, Missouri Botanical Garden; board of directors and chairman, St. Louis Sports Commission; Civic Progress Member; board of directors, past chair of the executive committee and chair of the capital drive campaign, Junior Achievement of Mississippi Valley, Inc.; board of trustees and executive committee, St. Louis Children's Hospital; board of directors and other various positions, the Children's Charity of St. Louis; advisory council of the Foundation for Special Education; board of directors, Topco Associates, Inc.; and advisory board, Cornell University Food Industry Management.

He and his wife, Julie, have three children.
