Liz Smith, CEO of OSI Restaurant Partners LLC, is responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term objectives, growth strategies, and initiatives for its family of casual dining brands, which include Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, and Roy’s restaurants. A 25-year
veteran of the consumer industry, Ms. Smith has a long history of bringing a consumer focus and innovation to building brands.

Ms. Smith joins OSI Restaurant Partners following a five year tenure with Avon Products Inc., where she served most recently as president. In that role, she successfully led the company’s global marketing, supply chain, information technology, and global sales business units, building the organizational capability and infrastructure to help the company capitalize on its global scale.

Prior to joining Avon, Ms. Smith worked for 14 years at Kraft Foods Inc, where most recently she served as the group vice president and president of the U.S. beverages and grocery sectors, overseeing a total of $6 billion in sales.

Ms. Smith is a member of the board of directors of Staples Inc. and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America. iN mARCH 2011 Ms. Smith was appointed to President Barack Obama's Management Advisory Board.

She holds a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
