Lynn M. Utter

Lynn Utter is chief strategy officer for Coors Brewing Company. She reports to Frits van Paasschen, president and CEO, and is a member of the senior leadership team at Coors. In addition to developing short term operating and long term strategic plans for the U.S. and its export businesses, Ms. Utter serves on the boards of Rocky Mountain Bottle Company, Rocky Mountatin Metal Company, and Coors Distributing Company.
Ms. Utter joined Coors in 1997. During her time at Coors she has led various operating groups including container manufacturing, technical services (including quality, engineering, facilities and R&D), and logistics. She has also been responsible for Coors' partnership with CCM/FEMSA in Mexico.
Her previous experience includes six years with Frito-Lay, where she held a variety of leadership positions in sales, distribution, and planning. Earlier in her career, she spent four years with Strategic Planning Associates in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Utter earned her BA in business administration in 1984 from the University of Texas at Austin and her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1986. She is a director for WESCO International, serves as a trustee for Mile High United Way, and serves on the advisory council for the University of Texas McComb's School of Business. She is a Henry Crown Fellow at The Aspen Institute, is a member of C200, serves on the Hidden Brain Drain Task Force, and has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Texas Ex.
She and her husband, Ward, reside in Englewood, Colorado, with their two children.
