Information for Participants

Stanford researchers are looking for participants willing to take part in organizational and marketing studies. Studies typically include cash payments to participants, often $15 or $20 an hour and sometimes more. None of our studies involve physical exertion or medical procedures.

You do not have to be a Stanford student to participate in studies. Also, if you are not a U.S. citizen, you may still participate in most studies run through the Behavioral Lab: click on the Foreign Participants link above.

Most research focuses on some form of judgment or interpersonal interaction, often featuring surveys and/or problem-solving. Many participants find the studies interesting and fun.

On this site, you can find out how to sign up for studies.

Or you can get directions to the Lab.
