Jackson Library Resources

Jackson Library subscribes to a number of databases and has access to a large amount of data and research. Access Jackson Library’s Research Guides or databases.

If you have additional questions or need help, consult with a librarian at Ask A Librarian.

ABI Inform Media Alert or RSS Feed

Using the ABI Inform Global database, you can request to be notified as new articles related to your data search become available. This is a great tool for tracking issues that are unfolding as you write your case:

1. In the ABI Inform Global database, type the search you would like to be sent to you in the regular search box.

2. You will see the Set Up Alert at the top of the search results.

3. Follow the directions.

Google Alerts

You can also create a Google Alert to be notified by e-mail of the latest relevant Google results based on the search you create.

Library Privileges for Temporary Writers

If you are a temporary case writer and you require library privileges to complete your case, email Margot Sutherland and specify the time period for which you require library access. Jiranee will alert the library (email to June Sages with a cc: to Joyce Rages) regarding your request. When you visit the library after your email request, you will be asked fill out a form at the information desk and then you will be granted access for the designated time period.
