2006 Entrepreneurship Conference: From Ideas to Action
The Annual Stanford Graduate School of Business Conference on Entrepreneurship
February 1, 2006 Through a series of panels, interactive workshops, and informal networking opportunities, this one-day conference brought together students, alumni, investors, and community members to explore how to succeed as an entrepreneur in today's environment.
This year's featured keynote speakers were: Kay Koplovitz, founder and former CEO of USA Networks; James Dyson, Inventor and Chairman of Dyson Vacuums; and Scott Cook, Founder and Executive Committee Chairman, Intuit.
In addition to our three featured speakers, we held a series of 15 panels and workshops to help entrepreneurs develop business ideas, build up their businesses, and learn lessons from those who have gone before.
