Community / Alumni
The CES designs, promotes, and supports entrepreneurial programs for Stanford students and alumni. Some programs are open to the community as well. We do not offer programs or services specifically for the community at large. The Helpful Links section under Resources lists the community-based organizations.
The CES facilitates summer internships through the Entrepreneurial Summer Program.
The Entrepreneur Resource Database is designed to connect mentors, investors, and service providers with entrepreneurs from the entire Stanford community. Alumni, students, and businesses are encouraged to create an account in the Entrepreneurial Resource Database.
Companies seeking students for Experiential Projects may also post these opportunities.
Events
The Center hosts and co-hosts a variety of events. Some of the events are specifically for students or alumni and others are open to the public. More information can be found in the About Us section. Additionally, you can view videos of past events.
Alumni Entrepreneurs
Newly launched: Alumni Entrepreneurs Online Community
GSB alumni entrepreneurs have requested a confidential forum to ask each other questions, store useful documents, and search past discussion threads. We are offering this new community as a trial, to gauge demand and seek feedback on the features you like and would want to improve. If there is sufficient momentum, we will aim to develop the site further.
Please note, this forum is not yet linked to the main GSB login verification system. For the time being, you will need to sign up for a separate account.
This development has been made possible by the MBA 2005 Class Gift in Honor of James Hsu. James Hsu was part of the Class of 2005; tragically, he was a casualty of the December tsunami on the island of Phuket.
