The 2005 MBA Class Gift
The CES is delighted to benefit from the MBA 2005 Class Gift. Class giving campaigns were started as a means to encourage a culture of giving back to the GSB and the program is now in its 15th year. According to the Dean's office, over the past four years, class gifts have had the highest participation rates and have raised more than $1.6 million for the School. Each year, students vote on how the Class Gift will be put to use. This gift is named MBA 2005 Class Gift in Honor of James Hsu. James Hsu was part of the Class of 2005; tragically, he was a casualty of the 2004 tsunami on the island of Phuket.
The CES has been able to use this gift to address several key initiatives including:
- Building a searchable video catalogue of past programs
- Developing a web-based community for alumni entrepreneurs, including networking, discussion and document reference features.
Thank you, Class of 2005, from all of us in the CES.
