Julie Reinganum
Ms. Reinganum, MBA '84, was president and CEO of Pacific Rim Resources, Inc., a management consulting firm serving multinational corporations interested in China, from 1988 to 2003.
Prior to founding PRR in 1988, Ms. Reinganum managed the development of Pacific Telesis' business in China (1984 to 1986) and worked with American International Group's investment division, again focusing on China (1985 to1988). In 1999-2000, Ms. Reinganum was the President of Asia Opportunity Company, the General Partner for Asia Opportunity Fund (a US$1 billion direct investment fund). In 1979, she was selected to work at the National Committee on US-China Relations on the initial US-China Agreements.
Ms. Reinganum serves on the boards of The Bombay Company (NYSE) and Javelin Investments (a privately-held Hong Kong investment firm). She serves as a member of the Advisory Council of the Hopkins Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies and the Center for the Pacific Rim. She is a member of the National Committee on U.S. - China Relations and the Pacific Council on International Policy.
Ms. Reinganum holds a B.A. from Vassar College (1977), an M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (1979), and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (1984).
