Recruiter Day & Company Networking Night
Targeting MBA1 Students
Dates: November 5th and 12th, 2008 from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The Recruiter Day presentations will provide a unique opportunity to connect with more students than in the past. These events, with different organizations participating on each day, will have the advantage of being offered on non-class days and will provide the earliest access to the MBA1 students. Students will have the opportunity to attend multiple tracks during each Recruiter Day.
To book a Recruiter Day presentation, organizations must be registered for OCR winter internship interviews.
These Recruiter Day events will be immediately followed by a CNN event from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for organizations targeting first-year MBAs. Both MBA2 and Self-Sponsored Sloans are also welcome to attend.
What to Expect on Your Recruiter Day:
- You will be scheduled in a track with three or four other organizations from a similar industry or with a similar job function.
- Each organization in your track will deliver an exclusive 15-minute presentation during the session.
- Organization representatives will not be present for each other's presentation.
- In order to reach different student audiences, you will repeat your presentation during the afternoon.
Company Networking Night (CNN)
During the CNN, employers will have the opportunity to meet students at the beginning of the recruiting cycle.
Organization representatives need to bring only:
- Business cards and one marketing piece
- The CMC will provide organization signs, nametags, and a registration sheet for attendees.
This event will be the primary vehicle for organizations to build their student interest lists. It will also provide an excellent networking opportunity for students and recruiting firms, increasing the organization contact with students.
OCR registration is NOT required to participate in a CNN.
By having two larger marquee events, we will reduce student scheduling conflicts and maximize attendance.
