Recruiting Checklist

Our recommended steps for successful on-campus recruiting.

  1. Determine your interview schedule and review the OCR Policies & Guidelines.
  2. Make a reservation for your OCR interview and On-Campus Presentations/Networking events.
  3. Review the confirmation packet sent to you after you register. Confirmation packet will include your dates and deadlines.
  4. Order a Résumé Book to search for your top candidates.
  5. Email us your job description (approximately 6 weeks before your visit).
  6. Publicize your recruiting activity or MTC using the Recruiter Communications Form through the Dashboard or advertise in the GSB newspaper, The Stanford Business Reporter (approximately 1 to 2 weeks before your event).
  7. Contact industry-relevant clubs through a CMC liaison to increase your on-campus visibility.
  8. Participate in our Career Fairs and other CMC-sponsored events, including panels, workshops, and mock interviews.
  9. Host a "Day on the Job" site visit for students to learn more about your company.
  10. Become a Corporate Investor to enhance visibility among the students and gain access to the faculty and administration.
