Academic Centers

At the Stanford Graduate School of Business, we believe four components are critical to a complete general management education: global awareness, social impact, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Centers that address these subjects can be valuable conduits for reaching students of greatest interest to your organization.

  • The Global Management Program (GMP) prepares students to manage in the global environment both academically and through providing experiential learning.
  • The Public Management Program prepares and challenges Stanford GSB students to address problems affecting society by applying their management education in ways that create social, environmental, and economic value.
  • The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies supports case and curriculum development, research, and programs in entrepreneurship and venture capital.
  • The Center for Leadership Development and Research promotes learning and scholarship in organizational leadership. The Center is based on the premise that although management can be taught in the classroom, leadership is something that is best learned through experience.
