Alumni Weekend 1999 NEW DEAN ROBERT JOSS welcomed a record-setting number of grads back to the Farm in his first appearance before an Alumni Weekend audience in October. Guests were treated to panel discussions, glorious weather, reunions with friends, and a chance to cheer Stanford's first Rose Bowl team since 1972. This year, the Class of '49 was inducted into the Half Century Club, Associate Dean Margaret Neale received the Silver Apple Award, and participants got their first look at the new Knight Building and the plaza that ties together the GSB complex.
