POLYESTER was the name of the game at the annual Challenge for Charity, when MBA students from six West Coast business schools gathered at Stanford to raise money for Special Olympics. Teams handed off soggy pinstripes in the investment banker/ consultant relay--all but winner UCLA, that is, whose team dressed for success in a floatable polyester leisure suit. Very Southern California. But the real winners are Special Olympians, who have received more than $2 million from the MBA games since their founding in 1984.
