Dean's Message

[photo - Dean Robert Joss]The Stanford Graduate School of Business embraces The Stanford Challenge, a university-wide comprehensive campaign with a bold and inspiring vision for the 21st century. The GSB plays a pivotal role as Stanford seeks to foster multidisciplinary solutions to pressing societal challenges and to educate leaders who will have an impact. Society has chosen managed organizations as its primary instrument for achieving results. Our expertise as a school of management is critical to effective change as we provide the managerial knowledge and talent to drive successful enterprises of the future.

The School's collaborations with both corporations and foundations have been integral to our success and will continue to provide the intellectual and financial investments to strategically move us forward. Our financial model relies on the support of our alumni, corporate, and foundation friends who collectively support more than half of our annual operating costs.

Partnering for Growth and Enhancing Corporate Visibility

To realize the School's bold plans for a new MBA curriculum and new campus, annual and endowed programmatic support from corporations and foundations is vital. Through annual financial support, affiliate programs, student events, or speaker engagements, institutional partners can build valuable relationships with members of the GSB community with whom they share common interests.

The rewards of partnership—access, insight, and affiliation—are powerful. Specifically, these include:

  • Access to students, faculty, and industry executives
  • Insight to industry-specific research and knowledge that is cutting-edge and applicable
  • A deep affiliation with the GSB through on-campus visibility for your organization

Join the roster of organizations benefiting from their unique association with the Stanford Business School. Together, we will prepare leaders who will change lives, change organizations, and change the world.
