Summary Database of Select Financial Characteristics of Silicon Valley Nonprofit Organizations
Stanford Law School professor Michael Klausner will be compiling a database of nonprofit tax returns for Silicon Valley nonprofits to develop time series data from 1990 to 2000 showing: donations to Silicon Valley private foundations and operating charities, with a comparison to donations to California nonprofits; the distribution of these donations by type of nonprofit (educational, community development, etc.); and other financial characteristics. Data for this project will be abstracted from the Urban Institute's nationwide database.
