Application Process for Stanford Ignite Programs

The application process for Stanford Ignite requires you to complete five components: the online application, short essays, your résumé, a professional recommendation, and an online video interview.

Required Materials

Online Application The online application requires you to provide basic personal contact and professional background information, as well as the following components: short essays, your resume, a professional recommendation, and an online video interview.
Short Essays You will complete statements that describe your background and experience level and explain how your personal and professional goals align with the program offering.
Résumé You will upload a copy of your most recent professional resume. A PDF file is recommended.
Professional Recommendation You will need to request one professional recommendation through our online system from a stakeholder in your professional success, such as a supervisor, academic advisor, or professional mentor. Your recommender will submit an online form; no formal letter is necessary. Only one professional recommendation will be accepted for this application.
Online Video Interview Within the application, you will be directed to our online video interview system. You will have an opportunity to walk through the computer setup process and answer practice questions before recording your final interview responses.

Confirmation of Receipt

You will receive a confirmation of receipt by email within 72 hours of submitting your application. If you have questions about the status of your application, contact Executive Education.

Notification of Acceptance

All applications are reviewed after the application deadline. You will be notified of your admission status within six weeks following the application deadline.
