In partnership with the American Electronics Association (AeA)
and the Stanford School of Engineering, this two-week program teaches a
strategic and practical understanding of the critical business issues facing
high technology companies. During 10 days of rigorous curriculum,
participants will learn from distinguished faculty, notable guest speakers, and technology executives from around the globe.
The curriculum of the AeA/Stanford Executive Institute is customized to explore the decision-making disciplines in each of the major functional areas of a technology-based business: marketing, finance, operations, product development, organizational development, and strategic management. Driving innovation and entrepreneurship is also a consistent theme throughout the program. A mix of theory and hands-on practice is emphasized through exercises such as the New Venture Laboratory, in which small teams of participants work together to identify a new business opportunity, conceptualize a product, and devise a business plan based on what they have learned in the program.
