Each participant has a room reserved at the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel from March 15 - 19, 2009. Program participants may check in after 3:00pm on Sunday, March 15, 2009, and must check out by 12:00pm on Thursday, March 19, 2009. Breakfast will be provided on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Sheraton Poolside Grill. The Sheraton offers valet parking for $15 per day or self-parking for $10 per day.
Sheraton Palo Alto
Set amidst picturesque water and flower gardens and koi ponds, the Sheraton Palo Alto Hotel is one of the most beautifully landscaped hotels in Silicon Valley. Located at the entrance to Stanford University, the hotel is within walking distance of downtown Palo Alto and its charming boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and night life. Experience the unique atmosphere of the Poolside Grill, where you can either sit indoors or outside on the patio to enjoy a wide selection of California influenced menu items. Visit the Cardinal Club Lounge for your favorite beverage or to take a look at the collection of Stanford memorabilia in the lounge's showcase. Stay healthy by working out in the hotel fitness center or swim a few laps in the outdoor heated pool. A 24-hour business center, wireless Internet access, and a lobby concierge are also provided.
Each participant has a room reserved at the InterContinental Hotel from March 20 - 26, 2009. Program participants may check in after 2:00pm on Friday, March 20, 2009, and must check out by 12:00pm on Thursday, March 26, 2009.
InterContinental Pudong Shanghai
InterContinental Pudong Shanghai is right in the centre of Lujiazui, the important new financial district - but that doesn't mean it's all about business. Shopping, museums, temples, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the famous Bund are close by, and the subway station down the street gives you easy access to Shanghai's other must-see attractions. Enjoy a meal in the Level 1 restaurant, touting the philosophy "fresh is best." Level 1 presents a variety of cuisines on a lavish buffet and an appetising à la carte menu. Program dates, fees, and faculty are subject to change. If a program is cancelled, Stanford will refund the program tuition in full but is not responsible for travel, accommodations or other expenses incurred by the participant.
