Design Thinking Boot Camp:
From Insights to Innovation

During the three-day program, you will work in teams of four to five people, guided by an embedded coach. All of our coaches are d.school faculty who have masters degrees or PhDs, in addition to extensive experience using design thinking in industry. The lead faculty members of the Design Thinking Boot Camp are George Kembel, Perry Klebahn, and Diego Rodriguez. You can learn more about our people and what makes them tick at: http://www.stanford.edu/group/dschool/people/team.html

Each day, you will start with breakfast at the d.school at 7:30 or 8:00am, work hard all day, and finish around 5:00pm. We will not assign any homework, but in the past, participants have been so excited by their project work that they have not been able to sleep through the night — so, we can’t promise a restful week.

You will have access to diverse d.school faculty throughout the workshop and will have the chance to tap into the design thinking expertise of the entire staff. On the last day, the faculty will collaborate with you to prepare you to apply design thinking to the particular business challenges at your home institution.
