Leading in Challenging Times

Program Dates: February 24 - 26, 2010
Application Deadline: February 1, 2010
Program Tuition: $4,900 USD

Leading your organization in today’s economic climate requires a fresh perspective and new insights on how to get the most out of your people. As business challenges mount and global competition intensifies, leaders must find new ways to extract more value from their business operations— essentially “do more with less.”

This two-day intensive program highlights a set of tried-and-true principles and introduces several cutting-edge practices that can help you run your business, and lead your employees, more efficiently and effectively.

Content Overview

Designed for business and public sector leaders  who are faced with decreasing budgets and increasing pressures to perform, this program will help executives under pressure  find new ways to identify and create value in their firms.  Over the course of 2 full days, program participants can reconsider several of their existing approaches to personnel management, motivation, and collaboration.  Participants will leave this short program with fresh insight on how to address their most significant leadership challenges and with an action plan customized to suit their unique situation and  goals.

Key Takeaways

  • Frameworks for making sound decisions in the face of difficult financial challenges

  • Methods of motivating employees to work harder (and smarter) with fewer resources

  • Tools to foster and sustain a supportive organizational culture even in tough times

Managers keep asking about what they can do to effectively lead their workforce in these challenging times. What many of them need are new methods of management that offer a fresh take on classic problems of motivation, developing talent, and collaborating with others. This program is designed with that goal in mind.
