- Our residences are not conducive to those traveling with infants/children. If you are traveling with an infant or child, please explore other options during your visit to Stanford.
Cancelation Policy
Confirmed reservations can be canceled, at no charge, 24 hours before the scheduled date and time of arrival (3 pm check-in time). If a cancellation is not communicated within this timeframe, a one-night cancellation fee will be charged. If the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and fails to notify the Schwab Residential Center, the reservation will be canceled, and a one-night cancellation fee will be charged.
Parking and Transportation
- Passenger drop off is located slightly west of the Schwab Residential Center lobby entrance (680 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305).
- Parking is not included in the nightly rate. Parking locations, fees, and details can be found on the Stanford Transportation website. Manzanita Field Garage and Knight Management Center Garage are the parking locations closest to Schwab Residential Center.
- Stanford’s shuttle service, Marguerite Shuttle, is free to the public and has a stop near Schwab Residential Center.

Location
Schwab Residential Center is conveniently located across the street from Knight Management Center, near Encina Hall, Hoover Institution, Arrillaga Alumni Center, and Stanford’s athletic facilities. It’s also close to Stanford’s free public shuttle service, Marguerite, which traverses the campus and popular surrounding destinations year-round.

If you are a parent of a student, a prospective/admitted student, or visiting the university for pleasure, unfortunately you are not eligible to stay at Schwab Residential Center. We recommend the Stanford Guest House or one of the many lodging options in the greater Palo Alto area for such visits.
