Fifth Annual Strategy and the Business Environment Conference
March 24-25, 2006
Call for Papers for the Fifth Annual Conference on Strategy and the Business Environment
The objective of this conference is to explore the interrelationships between the business strategies of firms and the social, legal, and political environment in which they operate.
The organizers of this conference series on strategy and the business environment hope that the conferences will support the development of a community of business school scholars for whom the business environment and strategy represent an important part of their research and teaching.
We are receptive to a wide range of methodologies including theoretical modeling, quantitative research drawing upon historical or archival data, surveys, or publicly available data, and qualitative research involving in-depth case studies or comparative research. We are particularly interested in papers that have clear first-order implications for general management rather than solely for the lstructure of the environment of business.
