GSB Priorities
Through The Stanford Challenge, the University is seeking solutions to society's most formidable challenges and programs to educate leaders by relying on multidisciplinary collaboration in research and teaching spanning Stanford's seven schools.
As a key part of The Stanford Challenge, the Business School aims at nothing short of reinventing management education. Within the university's comprehensive campaign goal of $4.3 billion, the Business School has identified the following priorities:
- $85 million in unrestricted annual giving. These funds are essential in providing the flexibility to seed new ideas and respond to new opportunities, as well as core support for ongoing programs through the Business School Fund,
- $95 million to support excellence in faculty research and teaching, including the addition of faculty to support our new curriculum,
- $30 million for student financial aid to stay competitive in attracting the best students to the School,
- $40 million to invest in the ambitious agendas of the School's four centers in entrepreneurship, global management, leadership, and social innovation, and
- $250 million toward the construction of a new campus.
All gifts to the GSB count toward The Stanford Challenge.
