Class of 1993 Participation Challenge
The Class of 1993 challenge leverages an alumni incentive to encourage student giving participation with a $150,000 match that will be earned when 95% of our classmates make a pledge of any level.
How the Challenge Came About
When the Development Committee recognized that the Atwell $-for-$ match made it possible to raise approximately $850,000 if our class pledged at similar levels to previous classes, we began looking for another match that would get our class gift all the way to one million. The Class of 1993 was inspired by our ambition. They wanted to create a sense of connection with our younger class on their 15th reunion and pledged this fund in addition to their 15-year class gift. Further, they wanted to encourage broad participation in the class gift, and to support the type of fund that the Atwell match required.
The greatest thanks we can give to the Class of 1993 for their generosity is to earn their Leverage Circle funds.
