Margaret Eaton teaches an interdisciplinary course about the bioscience industry, a category that includes biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, genomics, vaccines, and medical diagnostics. Her teaching and case development focuses on the ethical, social, and legal issues that are an inherent feature in the development of these products. To study these issues, Dr. Eaton's classes are comprised of graduate students from the different disciplines that work in these companies - business, medical, bio and chemical engineering, and legal students.
