Makena Capital Traders Pit
The Makena Capital Traders Pit hosts an array of financial data services offering current and historical data on stocks, bonds, futures, commodities, and other financial instruments, as well as international economic indicators.
These databases are accessible only at the designated computers, and require passwords to login. To obtain access, check out the binder for each database at the i-Desk in the Library.
Bloomberg
A 24/7 real-time financial information network of news, data, and analyses of financial markets and business, and a source of data for all securities. An Excel function allows convenient downloading. Access is restricted to current Stanford community.

Datastream
Key strength is long runs of historical data on international stocks, market indexes, bonds, commodities, exchange rates, futures, interest rates and economic data, easily downloadable into Excel. Access restricted to current Stanford community.

Barclays Capital Live
Provides Barclays Capital's fixed income and equity research, including reports, tables and charts on indices, treasuries, derivatives and more.
Access is restricted to current Stanford community. In addition to the computer at Traders Pit, registered users can access the database via the Web (IE browser only). No new accounts are being accepted as of 1/5/09.
CD-ROM Workstations
Databases loaded on CD-ROM workstations, such as Sourcebook America, etc., are also housed in the Makena Capital Traders Pit.
