Sample Merger Agreements

Use the following sources to find a merger agreement on the deal you have chosen:

• OneCle: Silicon Valley company specializing in helping members of the State Bar of California remain current regarding the law, the obligations and standards of the profession, and the management of their practices.
• Business Acquisitions Course Outline: Villanova course listing selected sample merger agreements to chose from.
• FindLaw: Thomson companies webpage which showcases its client development services for law firms, and online legal information and resources for attorneys, consumers and corporations including mergers to sample agreements.
• Edgar: SEC filings database.
• LexisNexis Academic: provides news stories on recent deals as well as some merger agreements. Click on Guided News Search tab. Select the News Category: Business News, then select the News Source: Mergers & Acquisitions. 
• Thomson Research: Contains many SEC filings with some merger agreements going back to the 1980s. 

M&A and Deals

Use the following to find news and information on deals:

• Capital IQ: Key financial data for Companies including M&A. Search for a company in the search box. Under Transactions, select M&A/Private Placements.
• Thomson One Banker - Analytics: Lists deals for companies, including M&A, equity, bond and loan Deals. Search for a company in the search box and select Deals tab.
• LexisNexis Academic: Provides news stories on recent deals as well as some merger agreements. Click on Guided News Search tab. Select the News Category: Business News, then select the News Source: Mergers & Acquisitions. 
• TheDeal.com: Visit Jackson Library Information Desk to gain access.
