A Student Lounge area was annexed to the library during the remodel. The student lounge area did not exist until the remodel. It is in keeping with the new vision of the library as an open inviting space area that provides opportunities to meet, eat and study with easy access to library resources. Students often relax in the sunlight with a cup of java and the morning paper. |

In the Trader's Pit, we provide the Stanford community with the kind of financial research tools typically used by investors, analysts, and Wall Street traders. A large-screen TV and stock index display nearby keep students abreast of breaking news. |
