Why is June considered the perfect month for a wedding?
Answer:
Once again we must look to the Romans and their gods. June is the month dedicated to the Roman god Juno the goddess of marriage, finances, and households, so it was considered good luck to be married in the month of June. But there may also be a more practical reason for June weddings aside from superstition, luck or the gods. If a couple was married in June, it meant that if a wife conceived, she would give birth before harvest time and thus she would be well enough to work the fields come harvest time.
