The information on this page can help you make the most of your Stanford experience by putting you in touch with the latest business information and news.

How do I get in the Library?

  • Participants in the SEP programs are eligible for access to Jackson Library for the duration of their enrollment in the summer.
  • Participants gain access by showing their Stanford University Conference Program cards or badges upon entering the Library.
  • Library privileges are to be exercised personally; proxies cannot be designated. Conference Program cards/badges are not transferable for use by other individuals, business associates, friends or family members.

For questions relating to Library access please contact Access Services at (650) 725-2055, or e-mail Access Services at jackson.library@gsb.stanford.edu.

Where do I find books, articles and news?

  • Need to find a book, magazine or newspaper? Search the Jackson Library Catalog - the best guide to our Jackson collections.
  • For the other Stanford libraries, use Socrates, the Stanford University catalog.
  • Want to search magazines and newspapers for articles?

Search the literature through our business literature databases.

There you can search (and read) the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BusinessWeek, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Forbes and many, many other business publications.

And note the wide selection of non-business databases available to you at Stanford.
  • Just want to read the latest domestic or international paper?

Take a look at the News section of our Business Web Sites

Can I still use the resources after I leave Stanford?

  • You can access the Jackson Library after your summer session has ended. You are considered GSB alumni by Jackson, with all the privileges thereto appertaining.
  • SEP participants are also able to subscribe to a discount package of databases through the GSB Alumni Lifelong Learning Program.
