Document Delivery Services
Business Library's Document Delivery Services (DDS) provides document retrieval and delivery service to Business School faculty and staff for Business School related research. This includes articles, books, chapters of books and papers from Stanford collections as well as material that is not available on campus.
DDS is designed for the delivery of SINGLE copies of items, and is not a photo-reproduction service. It operates in full compliance with United States copyright law.
Request Material
- Log in to your Document Delivery Services online account to submit requests.
- Borrowing from other campus libraries may require additional time to set up borrowing accounts for new users. This registration process may cause a brief delay in your initial request.
- Faculty Assistants can request material on behalf of faculty by indicating the professor's name in the "Notes" field of the request.
- Questions? See Document Delivery Services FAQs for more information.
When and Where to Expect Delivery
Our typical turnaround is 48 hours; however, unavailable or difficult-to-find items may take considerably longer. We will notify you of delay within two days. You can also check the status of your requests anytime through your Document Delivery Services account.
Books will be delivered to your office (Faculty Assistant’s office for faculty requests). Electronic-copies of articles will be held on the server for you to pick up via your DDS account.
Please note that circulating material from libraries is checked out to individual faculty or staff, not to DDS. Faculty and staff are responsible for returning material to the appropriate library before the assigned due date.
