Description
Faculty Research Service (FRS)

Need research help? Send your request to FRS.
Document Delivery Service

Need a book, video or article? We will find it for you -- whether it's at Jackson, another Stanford library, or off-campus.
Current Awareness Service

Use this service to track the latest tables of contents of your favorite journals.

Your Research Papers

To submit your paper to the GSB Research Paper Series:

  1. Contact Harjeet Heer (x4-3312) to request a paper number.
  2. Complete, sign, and submit the Faculty release form .
  3. If you wish a PDF sent to selected GSB colleagues, complete and submit the Faculty distribution list and/or PhD list .
  4. E-mail or ID mail items 2 & 3 plus a PDF or Word version of your paper to Harjeet Heer, S216.

NOTE: All papers in the GSB series are submitted to SSRN, AWPE, and Business Source Complete.

Course Reserves

Need to place course readings on Reserve? You or your assistant may use an online form to expedite this process.

Assistance to Your RAs

Jackson Library offers special assistance to your RAs. To register your RA with the Library, please have him/her obtain a research assistant registration card at the Front Desk in the Library. details

24-hour Access to the Library

GSB faculty and PhDs have 24-hour access to Jackson Library. To obtain after-hours access, please contact the Front Desk (x5-2055) in the Library.

 

 

Resource

Description
Databases

Jackson has licensed a diverse collection of financial datasets and business literature files. Some of these products (e.g. CRSP, I/B/E/S, Spectrum) are available via the Wharton WRDS service. Stanford University as a whole has an extensive array of databases across all disciplines.
eJournals

An increasing number of titles are available in full-text online. Many are also available in print in the Library.
Jackson Library Catalog

The most current record of Jackson's books, journals, and video collections.
Socrates

The online catalog of all Stanford libraries. This catalog contains Jackson records, but is not as current as the Jackson Library Catalog.

Bibliography Management Software

As a GSB faculty member, you can request EndNote, and may need to pay for the license from your research funds. To request, please submit a service ticket.

An alternative product is RefWorks, which is free for any Stanford users.
