Printing
Current Business School Faculty, Staff and Students
The printers in the library use print pooling. The queue names for those printers are:
- Library_BW - these are the black & white printers
- Library_BW-PS - post-script driver for the black & white printers
To Collect Your Print Job in the Library
- You need your ID card to retrieve your print job.
- If you don't have your ID card, you can use your Proximity number (located on the back of your ID card, lower right side)
- Retrieve your print job by walking to the least busy printer, and touching your ID card to the right side of the card reader or entering your Proximity number.
- Prints are stored in queue for 2 hours, then discarded.

GSB Alumni
Please consider e-mailing or downloading your work. If necessary, printing is provided at no charge to GSB Alumni.
To print:
- Select the Print Command from the file menu or use CTRL P.
- Note: Do not use the Quick Print button on the tool bar
. You will not be able to retrieve your print job. - Select Library 1b from the drop down menu.
- Pick up print job at the Library Front Desk (no charge for GSB Alumni).
All Others
Printing is provided for a fee. The cost is 10 cents per page. Please consider e-mailing or downloading your work.
To print:
- Select the Print Command from the file menu or use CTRL P.
- Note: Do not use the Quick Print button on the tool bar
. You will not be able to retrieve your print job. - Select Library 1b from the drop down menu.
- Pick up print job at the Library Front Desk. Cash or checks accepted for payment.
Reporting Service Problems
Report printing problems to the Jackson Library Front Desk or the Information Desk.
Saving Your Documents
Most of the computers in the library are equipped with floppy drives and CD writers. CD-RWs and 3.5'" floppy diskettes are available for purchase at the Library Front Desk for $2.00 each.
