Sample Citations:

Citations for library materials should be the same on reserve reading lists, course outlines, and syllabi. For various reasons, citations for these materials may be other than the forms that come most readily to mind. Since the citations for joint authors, title entries, and periodical articles seem to cause the greatest difficulties for the identification of an item, a few examples are given below. Please note that if a book has been published in numerous editions, it is best to specify both the editions and copyright or publication date.
