Ken Daigle

Ken Daigle is a lively speaker who blends his experience as a Broadway performer with his training as a Unity minister to provide coaching and workshops in vocal performance and presentation skills. Ken was raised in New Orleans and its spirit of music, dance, and celebration still permeates his life today.

He moved from the Big Easy to the Big Apple for show business and had a successful and exciting career as a professional actor, singer, dancer, director and choreographer. For years Ken studied vocal performance, production, and movement with New York's top professionals while also working in the theatre.

Ken had the extreme honor of working with Jerome Robbins while performing in the 1990 revival of Fiddler on the Roof staring Chaim Topol. And has since worked with the Jerome Robbins Trust directing and choreographing Fiddler around the United States and Canada. His other theatrical credits include Damn Yankees, Phantom, West Side Story, Joseph, Forum, Show Boat, and Evita.

In 2006 he eased out of his theatrical work and began studies with the Unity Institute in Kansas City, Missouri first becoming licensed as a Unity Teacher and ultimately completing studies to be ordained as a minister. While in school he used his performance experience to design and deliver public speaking workshops for fellow seminarians.

Widely sought for his dynamic speaking Ken has taught at Unity churches in Palo Alto, New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco, and Kansas City among others. In 2007, Ken achieved his greatest success at a small event in Canada where he legally married the love of his life, JD Schramm. They make their home in San Francisco and New York City.
