Deborah Denenberg
Deborah Denenberg, President, The Dandelion Group. Deborah began her career at the Upstairs Theater in Omaha, NE as Producer/General Manager of this live, professional theater. In 1989, Deborah joined the Broadway producers Dodger Productions where she created and built Big League Theatricals, an industry leader that produces, books and general manages national tours of Broadway shows. Representative productions include: Guys and Dolls, The Secret Garden, Into the Woods, Driving Miss Daisy and The Who's Tommy, to date the most profitable production of this multimedia Broadway musical. In 1990, Deborah co-founded Blackberry Technologies Inc., an Internet software-outsourcing company (not the handheld device that JD carries, though we did sell those folks our url, www.blackberry.com, after we were acquired). Deborah left her theatrical career in 1997 to devote full time to Blackberry which was acquired by Plural, Inc. in April 2000. Deborah now teaches MBA-level Entrepreneurship and Communications. She serves on the Board of Advisors of start-up companies, and consults through her firm The Dandelion Group.
