Bill King

Bill King is Faculty Emeritus at Thunderbird School of Global Business (formerly, the Garvin School of International Management). Bill went to Thunderbird in 1971 to set up and direct the English as a Second Language Program in the Department of Modern Languages. During his 35-year tenure at Thunderbird, Bill introduced not only ESL courses to the curriculum but he also developed programs in Business Communication, at the introductory and advanced levels and delivered these courses as part of the standard Master of International Management program and also as part of the Executive Education programs. He was instrumental in delivering the first courses in the On-Demand program and in the Distance Learning program with the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey (Mexico). And, in his last three years at Thunderbird, Bill also integrated cultural issues and negotiation strategies into his courses at all levels.

Bill currently serves as a consultant to North Central University (ncu.edu) in Prescott, Arizona. He is also teaching at the Helsinki School of Economics in the business communication and academic writing programs.
