Brad Whitworth is senior communication manager for Cisco in San Jose, California, where he leads external and internal communications for the company’s Emerging Solutions Ecosystems group.

Before joining Cisco in 2007, Brad worked on the communications teams with senior executives at HP, PeopleSoft and AAA. A former broadcaster, Brad’s research, writing and presentations at more than 250 conferences and workshops have earned him recognition as a thought leader in the field.

Brad was chairman of IABC in 1989-90 and was named a Fellow of the 15,000-member professional association in 1996. His communication work has garnered six prestigious IABC Gold Quills. He earned undergraduate degrees in both journalism and speech at the University of Missouri and his MBA at Santa Clara University.
