Overall compensation levels for Stanford MBA graduates are consistently among the highest of our peer schools.

However, compensation is not the only consideration of most students. Stanford MBA students report that the primary reasons for accepting a position are:

Class of 2007

  • Base salary: $115,500 median with a range of $54,000 to $300,000
  • Signing bonus: $20,000 median with a range of $4,000 to $180,000
  • Other guaranteed compensation: $40,000 median with a range of $5,000 to $410,000

Class of 2008 Summer Positions

  • Monthly base salary: $7,500 median with a range of $130 to $16,000
