Housing and Residential Life
On-Campus Housing
The Stanford MBA Program is a 2-year, full-time, residential program where living and learning are integrated to support your academic endeavors and to start your membership in the Stanford community with a warm welcome.
At Stanford, learning extends beyond the formal classroom. Living on campus complements the academic curriculum with activities and experiences essential to your preparation for a life of leadership, intellectual engagement, citizenship and service.
Whether you choose to live on- or off-campus, the Stanford community offers unmatched opportunities for building relationships with your classmates. MBA Students from around the globe call Stanford home. Single students, married students, and students with families meet here on common ground.
The essential conviction of Residential Education is that living and learning should be integrated, not separate; that formal teaching, informal learning, and personal support in residences is integral to a Stanford education.
If you apply in the first or second round, you can meet the deadline for the housing lottery.

"Living in the Schwab Residential Center during my first year was a great way to get to know my classmates.
With study group meetings, cultural dinners, and recruiting events held right there, I was very much in the center of residential life, with the added convenience of a short walk to classes. It's the perfect combination of student residence and private apartment."
